Yours for Eternity: Chapter 7 END

Time went by since the night Sesshomaru and I made love. Rin was so excited about the things she had learned each day she wouldn't stop talking about them at meals. Jaken avoided me as much as possible. He seemed to detest the fact a human like me was the one his lord chose. It saddened me to be so hated, but there was nothing I could do about it.

I was reading to Rin in the garden while Sesshomaru sat nearby keeping an eye on us. Rin had grown to love my stories while I loved her like a little sister. She had become one of my best friends at this castle.

The smell of spring came with the breeze as the cherry blossom petals fell around us. My favourite flower overtook the garden with its wonderful light pink. Ever since the beginning of spring, fresh blossoms were placed in my bedroom. Although I don't sleep much in there any more, it is still a sanctuary in which I could be alone.

When I finished reading to Rin I looked at Sesshomaru. His eyes revealed his interest.

"You're a good writer, Raven!" Rin said.

"I'm not that good. There is still so much I need to work on, and sometimes I get writer's block which as of result leaves me with no ideas," I explained.

"Lord Sesshomaru, tell Raven how wonderful she is. She keeps denying it," Rin turned to him.

"Her writing is advanced, yet she's right. There is always more that could be done to make it better," Sesshomaru calmly answered.

"I'm hungry, why don't we go in for some lunch," I suggested. Rin nodded, her stomach growling in agreement. Sesshomaru stood and walked over to us. We all went inside in anticipation of food.

I watched as the sunset over the castle, wind blowing my hair in my face. Sesshomaru stood beside me. It was I who asked if he wanted to see this with me. There was so much for us in the future. At least until the day I died. Considering I was just a human, my days would end in just a certain amount of decades. All that mattered though was right now. My heart skipped a beat when Sesshomaru turned to me. Our lips met into a passionate kiss. Again we were going to fill each other's desires tonight.

The sun disappeared and we came up for air. I hugged him. Sesshomaru seemed surprised about my display of affection. Even so he hugged me back.

"I love you, Sesshomaru," I closed my eyes.

"I love you, too," Sesshomaru responded. My eyes went wide in surprise. I let go of him.

"You do? I thought..." he kissed me to shut me up. The proud demon lord in front of me finally admitted to such an emotion. He came up.

"As long s you remain my strength I will love you for eternity," Sesshomaru brushed my cheek with the back of his hand and a small smile graced his lips.

"And I will remain yours for eternity," we kissed again as the moonlight began to shine on us. The night was only beginning.
