It was Valentine's Day on Midgard. Kissy faces, chocolates, and hearts everywhere disgusted a mortal named Raven. Loki did not expect to be around the time of a Midgardian holiday when he visited. Raven intrigued him. Her black hair flowing as she waked, a bit covering her right eye which she'd move from time to time. Blue eyes that looked like an ocean and yet she was alone. Never before and Loki spotted such beauty in the mortal world. Was she even human? Maybe ut wasn't really fascination and just the feel off this holiday getting to him. Either way he had to make his presence known to her.

Considering the events in New York almost a year ago, he disguised his appearance to the type of guy he believed she'd talk to. He had black emo hair, black T-shirt, and baggy jeans. On his feet were converse with green lace. His eyes remained their piercing green. The only thing really different was how he presented himself. Only those who knew him personally would be able to recognize him. Good thing none of them were here.

Raven entered a convenient store and stood near the beverages. It looked as if she were contemplating between soda or an Energy drink. Loki followed behind and pretended he came over for the same purpose. Raven finally decided with a Fanta and went to the check out. Loki shrugged as if changing his mind about the drink and left the store. He waited until the black haired beauty stepped out to say anything.

"Hello," he said. At first she didn't realize he was talking to her. He tapped on her shoulder and repeated the greeting. "Hello."

"Oh sorry, uh, hi," she faced him. She looked him over and she found that he was good looking. It surprised her that someone like him would just approach her. That made him suspicious. The suspicion grew as Loki found himself tongue tied. It surprised him at how easily his silver tongue could vanish at the thought of speaking to this girl.

She is only a mortal, he thought to himself. It shouldn't be that hard.

"If you're not going to say anything I'm leaving," she said breaking the silence.

"Sorry, this is going to sound awkward, but I found you quite stunning. I just had to speak with you," Loki replied.

"You look sort of familiar," Raven said looking into his eyes. "I think I have seen you before."

"I've never been to this town," Loki tried to cover. "What is your name by the way?"

"Raven," she answered. She scrutinized him then smirked. "Nice disguise, Loki." Shock then amusement filled his green eyes.

"I supposed there was no fooling a mortal who looked as smart as she does beautiful," ignoring others around him he changed back to his original outfit and his hair flowed behind his ears to his shoulders once again. A couple people gasped while others didn't seem to care.

"You flatter me," Raven laughed. "Come on, let's get away from here since you just revealed who you were in public."

"I don't care what these mortals do," Loki said, but Raven already started on her way.

"Are you coming or not?" she asked. Loki smirked. This would definitely be interesting.

Loki had no idea what compelled him to follow this woman. She was smart and intelligence could mean danger. Although he could easily take down a mortal. Yet, he didn't want to harm her.

They were at the doorway to her room and Raven paused. "Please don't be shocked when we go in," she said. Loki had a confused look on his face then saw what she meant when she opened the door. On the opposite side of the room was a life size cardboard cutout of him. He saw how it could be viewed as creepy.

"What's this all about?"

"Ever since I saw you on TV I couldn't stop thinking about how perfect you seem to be. I don't believe in love at first site, but you are gorgeous. After a while I spent time looking up stuff about you. My favorite is that you're the god of mischief. Messing with people is funny," she giggled.

"So it is love then?" Loki smirked.

"I didn't believe anything could be perfect, until I met you," she smiled. "Seeing you in person has made me feel something I thought I never could. You don't realize how difficult it is for me to like anyone."

"People have hurt you?" Loki questioned, his curiosity growing with each reply from Raven's pale, pink lips.

"Everyone suffers in life. Mine has led me not to trust anyone and do anything it takes to get what I want."

"Do you want me?" Loki looked into her blue eyes. They blinked and her cheeks grew hot.

"I would cut out my heart and give it to you if I could," she confessed. " I know I'm a fool for..." Loki cut her off bu placing a kiss on her lips. No wonder he was so drawn to her. It was this similar aura around her as him. Loki couldn't trust his own family who had lied to him.

"Raven," Loki began. " You talk too much." Raven pretended shock.

"How dare you tease me. You were the one asking questions," she laughed. "Watashi wa anata o aishite."

"What?" Loki stared at her.

"It means' I love you' in Japanese. One way at least," she answered.

"I suppose I could learn to love a mortal like you."

"Suppose, watch me change that," she kissed his cheek and whispered something in his ear. She pulled up. "All I want for Valentine's day is you. You have no idea what you do to me."

"Only if you become mine."

"Agreed," Raven smiled, happy she got Loki as her Valentine.
I had been busy all day making the video for YouTube that this is being put up even later. I apologize it isn't one of my best works but you try writing a story with writer's block desperately and off the top of your head within a limited amount of time...

Loki belongs to Marvel!~
